Barry Shevlin - CEO

Barry Shevlin is a serial entrepreneur and accomplished software developer. Through the course of his career, he successfully founded and grew five companies in technology sectors that included CATV contracting, telecommunications, software and networking sales. As chief executive officer of Network Liquidators, he has driven the company's annual revenues to greater than $50 million in less than seven years.

Shevlin's vision and talent for capitalizing on emerging business trends was the impetus behind the launch of Network Liquidators. In 2002, he began developing a technology-based solution that has enabled Network Liquidators to become one of the fastest growing and most efficient companies in its industry segment. Today, the company leverages this technology as the backbone of its sales and marketing operations, supporting more than 8,000 customers worldwide.

Mr. Shevlin was named the 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year by Gulf Coast Business Review.

Prior to Network Liquidators, Shevlin was an independent software developer building process-automation applications for the B2B market. His accomplishments on this front include an eBay auction management platform that integrated an online storefront (now operating as www.zoovy.com); a multiple listing service for Boat Brokers; an offsite data storage platform and a secure online payment processing platform currently being used by hundreds of thousands of users.

Previously he served as CEO of BusinessMall.com/Progressive Telecommunications (NASDAQ: BSML), a company he founded in 1996. At BusinessMall.com, he paired his software development skills and business acumen as a reseller of local and long-distance phone, communications management and electronic commerce services. At the time of his departure, the company's revenues peaked at roughly $1 million per month.

Shevlin began his entrepreneurial career in the cable and satellite television industry. As president and founder of Custom Connections/BSR Industries, he developed relationships with key industry players including Time Warner's Primestar division and Echostar, parent company to Dish Network. In less than two years, he propelled the company to become Echostar's second largest East Coast retailer/installer of Dish Network systems, and central Florida's third largest cable TV contractor. He later sold the company to an employee and the business continues to serve the marketplace.

Barry is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), CEO Council of Tampa Bay and the Tampa Bay Technology Forum.

Steve Torres - CFO

As Vology’s CFO, Steve Torres oversees all financial, operational and HR functions, including strategic planning, accounting and reporting, taxes, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, business intelligence, purchasing and logistics management.

Torres brings a wealth of strategic leadership experience to the company, including expertise in public and private capital offerings, financial and operational transformations, M&A and regulatory compliance expertise, specializing in SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Torres joined Vology in 2007 after serving as Director of Financial Reporting for Jabil, Inc., a Fortune 250 global electronics manufacturing company. During his tenure at Jabil, Inc., Torres managed the corporate financial reporting and SEC compliance functions. He played a key role in several domestic and international acquisitions, handling transactions with values ranging between $5 million to $900 million.

Prior to joining Jabil, Inc., Torres served as Director of Financial Reporting and Tax at Syniverse Technologies, a global telecommunications solutions provider, where he played an integral role in orchestrating the company’s $281 million IPO, then the largest IPO in Tampa’s history.

Before Syniverse, Torres served as the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting for the $10 billion U.S. segment of Tech Data, a Fortune 100 global distribution company. Torres began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen, LLP. Torres is a CPA and earned his Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and his MBA from Regis University.

John Medaska - Vice President of Sales

As Vice President of Sales, John Medaska is responsible for Network Liquidators’ sales and marketing, as well as new business opportunities. He will be focused on delivering the world class offerings of their technology solutions to their customer base worldwide.

John has more than 20 years of experience in developing and leading successful technology organizations within sales, operation, technology, professional services and management. He has extensive experience in a wide range of technologies in the secondary market and authorized solution provider space. He has developed and managed technology solutions organizations within the networking, server, storage, telephony, and PC space with the tier 1 vendors such as IBM, Cisco, HP, Lenovo, EMC, Avaya and many others.

Most recently, John comes from IT Xchange where he was Vice President and responsible for developing and managing their North American solutions business. Prior to IT Xchange, John was Senior Vice President at Relational Technology Solutions where he oversaw Relational's enterprise solutions business in North America, as well as managing the OEM, vendor and distributor relationships. Over his career he has held various executive and management roles at Intrasec Corporation, ActivCard and Intermedia Communications. John began his career at IBM.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida. He currently sits on various board positions. He has been a past Board of Directors member for ASCDI and Vice President of Tampa Bay ISSA chapter. He is currently the President of the Tampa Bay InfraGard organization, a member of ELA and member of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum.

Joy Perkins - Director of Operations

Perkins has more than 30 years of logistics, operations and supply chain management experience. Prior to joining Vology, she was Senior Vice President of Operations for HSN, Inc., a $2.8 billion interactive multi-channel retailer. During her tenure at HSN, Inc., Perkins managed quality control, engineering and reverse logistics, and fulfillment operations worldwide. Prior to that, Perkins was Vice President of Distribution at Tech Data Corporation for over 11 years and Director of Material Management at Superior Uniform Group for over 8 years.

Perkins’ diverse experience in all facets of operations – retail, whole distribution and manufacturing provides best-in-class supply chain solutions along with strong leadership skills to demonstrate exceptional customer service with a relentless commitment to quality, integrity and continuous improvement at Vology.

David Rich - Director of Finance

As Vology’s Director of Finance, Dave Rich, CFA, oversees the financial reporting, budgeting, treasury and tax functions.

Prior to joining the team at Vology, Dave spent more than 10 years in investment banking where he focused on assisting high-growth companies raise necessary capital and conducting key capital research and analyses. Dave received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001, and has primarily specialized in the areas of financial statement analysis, enterprise valuation and capital structure. Dave began his career out of college as a retail banker and credit analyst. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration (Economics) from the University of West Florida and an MBA in Management from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he graduated with honors.

Andy Malivuk - Sr. Director of Operations

Vology Senior Director of Operations. Andy Malivuk leads mission-critical warehouse operations, procurement, post sales technical support, quality management system and business intelligence functions. His oversight of these key operations helps ensure delivery of world-class technology solutions for the company’s global customer base.

Malivuk brings extensive, diverse leadership experience to the company, specializing in operations, financial reporting, business intelligence and business process improvement. Before joining Vology, Malivuk led business intelligence and process improvement projects in accounting and financial reporting for Sage Software.

Prior to his tenure at Sage Software, Malivuk held a variety of leadership roles in accounting, compensation, reporting and analytics and sales at Tech Data Corporation. He began his career as Operations Manager for Stephen Gould Corporation.

Malivuk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and an MBA from the University of South Florida.

Andy Swenson - Vice President of Information Technology

Andy Swenson is the Vice President of Information Technology at Vology Data Systems where he is responsible for internal computing and telecommunications systems for the company. Additionally, Andy is responsible for the professional services team, which assists customers with technical projects including network design, implementation and ongoing support.

Previously Andy was the CIO and Managing Director at Tribridge where he was responsible for internal technology and telecommunications while acting as a subject matter expert on security and infrastructure issues for the S&I practice.

Prior to joining Tribridge, Andy founded Integration Specialists, Inc. (ISI), which was acquired by Tribridge in July 2003. Prior to founding ISI Andy served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer with two Tampa-based public companies – Sykes Enterprises, Inc. and ABR Information Services, Inc. where he was responsible for all technology for over 15,000 employees at 60 locations in 14 countries.

Andy is on the board of the Tampa Chapter of Infragard, the Tampa Bay Chapter of ISSA, the advisory board for St Petersburg College, Everest University and for FairWarning Software. He has appeared on NBC Daytime as an Internet Security Expert a panelist for Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist on Internet Security.

Andy has worked in IT since 1982 in government, middle market and Fortune 500 companies. His experience includes all aspects of information technology, including information security and infrastructure services, strategic planning, new product development, and project management.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Coleman College in San Diego, California and a Telecommunications Management Certification from Christian Brothers College in Memphis, Tennessee.
