The BlackDiamond Management Switch Module (Extreme 50015 MSM64i) is a necessary component for Extreme BlackDiamond series switches. Based on the i chipset the SMMi provides eight QOS queues and server load balancing in addition to the standard layer 3 features. This model has Full Layer 3 software which provides RIP OSPF BGP4 multicast and IPX routing functions.
