In telecommunication, Advanced Data Communication Control Procedures (or Protocol) (ADCCP) is a bit-oriented data link layer protocol used to provide point-to-point and point-to-multipoint transmission of data frames that contain error control information.

ADCCP is an ANSI standard derived from IBM's synchronous data link control (SDLC) and is virtually identical to the ISO high level data link control (HDLC) standard.

ADCCP has 3 main modes - NRM (Normal Response mode akin to SDLC), ABM (Asyncronous Balanced mode - akin to HDLC) and ARM (Asynchronous Response mode)

No matter if you need to know "what is ADCCP", the definition of a "ADCCP", or the meaning of a "ADCCP", you can find it here at Network Liquidators. There's quite a bit of information out there to learn, and it all starts by you having the initiative to seek out that information.

We hope this definition of ADCCP was what you were looking for and appreciate your visit and welcome you back anytime.
