One whom is certified as a Cisco Routing and Switching Solutions Specialist will demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to identify the unique technical, business, and technological requirements of a given customer to create a networking solution that employs Cisco's advanced routing and switching capabilities. As a prerequisite for this certification, you must have a valid CCDA certification. You must also pass the required 642-054 RSSSE exam. Cisco Routing and Switching Solutions Specialist certifications are valid for 2 years. Recertification requires passing the current version of the exam or pass a CCIE written exam.
