As a prerequisite for this certification, you must have a valid CCNA certification. You must also pass the following required exams: 642-551 SND and 642-522 SNPA exams. Cisco Firewall Specialist certifications are valid for 2 years. Recertification requires you to either pass the current version of the exam or pass a CCIE written exam.
