As executive vice president of operations for Network Liquidators, Inc., David Key has primary responsibility for integrating the recently acquired 1 Nation Technology. He brings over a decade of leadership, operational and financial experience gained while serving in senior management positions in entrepreneurial organizations and vice president level positions in large financial institutions.
Prior to joining Network Liquidators in December 2006 he was the president of 1 Nation Technology, a telephony equipment distributor, for nine years. 1 Nation was a market leader in the independent channel for distribution and refurbishment of telephony equipment manufactured by Nortel, Avaya, Aastra, Polycom and Plantronics. He led the company through a capital raise in 1998 that translated into five fold revenue growth prior to its sale to Network Liquidators.
David developed much of his financial experience prior to joining 1 Nation while serving as CFO for a 26 location men’s clothing retail business called Sacino’s. In the five years he was in this position he introduced several new tools for performance measurement and led the company through a major restructuring of its senior debt instruments.
David's early career included corporate banking positions with Southeast Bank, C&S Bank and Barnett Bank where he acquired knowledge of what critical factors allowed businesses in a variety of industries to succeed or fail.
David was awarded his bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration together with a minor in economics from the University of South Florida in 1986. David furthered his education and earned an MBA with an emphasis in management in 1991 from the University of South Florida while working full time in the corporate banking arena.
